Positive: Nice and surprisingly spacious apartments in a Milan residential suburb (which is also a charming historical town). Good connection to the city center (Cadorna) by train – just one stop from Saronno, one of the main local train hubs in Lombardy, where you can change for Como, Malpensa, etc. The train station is about 1 km away, with trains running every hour off-peak and every 30 minutes during peak hours. The ticket costs €3.60 one way (as of Oct 2025). By car - from 1.80 to 3.50 EUR tolls and 30-80 minutes drive depending on where exactly in Milan and when you're going. A private garage was available right in the building for only €50 per week – highly recommended if you’re traveling by car. Some things in the apartment could use a little renovation, but that’s fine. The mattresses, unfortunately, aren’t very great. It would also be nice to add a few basic amenities, such as wine glasses :) Christian is a very caring host!

Negative: Not a dislike for me personally (I wake up very early), but be prepared that the church bells start to ring every hour at 7, and the bell tower is very close :)
