Built on top of a private hill, villa Volpi is the crown jewel of Tenuta di Tramonte, an exclusive estate surrounded by over 40 acres of vineyards and olive groves a short distance from Lucca and all the best that Tuscany has to offer. This ancient convent has been recently renovated to the highest standards, offering unrivalled comfort and luxury while maintaining the characteristic timeless charm and authenticity of a centuries-old villa.
Originally built in the 19th century by bishop Volpi of Lucca as a private residence, the villa is at the heart of an organic agricultural estate that extra virgin olive oil, red and white wine as well as fruits and vegetables that guests can enjoy during their stay.
The beautiful rooms, with apparent wooden beams and dark terracotta ceilings, offer 360° views of the Apennines, the hills and the plain of Lucca. Recently renovated with taste down to the smallest details, they have kept the charm of the time intact. The 120 sqm living room, boasting a grand piano, 100-year-old pool table, grand fireplace and lots of seating space is the perfect place for family reunions. The fully-equipped kitchen with direct access to the garden is a gourmet's dream.
Wide gardens surround the house and boast numerous areas for outdoor dining and relaxing, spectacular views and hidden spots between centuries-old trees. The unique swimming pool offers total privacy and beautiful views of the sunsets over the Tuscan hills.
The price includes a full-time chef, a house maid (from 8 am to 6 pm) and 24-hour concierge service. The chef is at your disposal for all your meals and requests. Wine and ingredients are excluded from the price.
